Branch Rules, Season 2009/10
1.0 Membership
1.1 The amount of the membership fee shall be determined by the Branch Committee.
1.2 Prospective Membership of the Branch must apply for membership by completing the application form and pay the subscription to the Branch.
1.3 All applications will be considered by the Committee who reserves the right to refuse an application.
1.4 Membership will be renewable annually (June).
1.5 Members MUST up hold the good name of Liverpool F.C and that of the Branch at all times.
1.6 Membership of the Branch is subject to rules, which will be given to each subscribing member upon joining.
1.7 All members who travel with the Branch will abide by the Branch Rules, failure to do so will render that member suspended from the Branch until the Committee deal with the matter.
2.0 Match Tickets
2.1 The Branch will run a trip to every home game (subject to interest and ticket allocation).
2.2 Tickets will be allocated on a priority basis based on the number of games attended.
2.3 For guaranteed match day travel members must book 15 days prior to the match via e-mail, stating their name and game they are booking for. If they are booking for other members they must also state their names. If a member books after the 15-day period their seat on the coach will be subject to availability that is the Club cannot guarantee availability.
2.4 Once a member has booked they will receive a confirmation of their booking stating departure, location and time.
2.5 Once a member books for travel and match ticket and then cancels with more than 72 hours notice, the member will be liable for the cost of transport however the Club will reallocate the match ticket.
2.6 Once a member books for travel and match ticket and then cancels with less than 72 hours notice, the member will be liable for BOTH the transport and the match ticket.
3.0 Transport
3.1 When match tickets have been secured the transport will be arranged as follows:
- Up to 8 members – car/people carrier
- Up to 16 members – minibus
- 16 + members – coach
3.2 There is NO SMOKING policy and NO ALCOHOL policy in any shape or form on all self-drive and hired vehicles.
3.3 An adult must accompany under 16’s.
3.4 Guests can travel with a member at an additional cost of £5 per trip with the approval of the Committee.
4.0 Payments
4.1 Cost of transport will be £24.50 subject to a minimum of 8 travelling.
For less than 8 travelling the cost will be £29.50.
4.2 Please note that the transport costs will not be fixed for the whole season and any changes will be notified to members.
4.3 If a member is overdue in repaying money owing to the Club then he/she may not be allowed travel with the branch until the debt is paid.
5.0 Match day
5.1 A member’s arrival at the designated pick up points after the time given will mean that they will miss the trip. We will allow a grace period of a maximum of 15 minutes. The member will be liable for the transport and match ticket if applicable.
5.2 Match ticket will be handed to member/guests on the coach unless alternative
arrangements have been made.
5.3 If the minibus or coach on which the supporters are travelling breaks down on the way to a football match or for any other reason the journey to Liverpool is not completed, the match ticket price shall not be refunded to those travelling. However, whatever reduction we negotiate with the Coach Company will be fully passed on to those travelling.
5.4 If the particular football match is cancelled and the trip had already been fully organised, the match ticket price will be passed however the cost of travel will not.
6.0 Discipline
6.1 All members shall abide by the code of conduct as laid down upon joining the Branch in terms of behaviour.
6.2 Failure to abide by the rules of the Branch will result in the offending Member being suspended from the Branch until the Committee decides what action is to be taken.
6.3 A Member could find their membership withdrawn by the Branch Committee.
Any breach of this conduct shall render members liable to action by L.F.C.
