At last season’s annual dinner in June 2009 it was announced that we would start posting the results of the Herts predict the starting eleven game on our website. So here are the rules.
1. To participate in this game you have to be travelling on the Hert’s coach to Anfield.
2. You must tick the STARTING eleven that you think Rafa has picked! The rules are on the form for each home game.
3. In the event of a tie the person who guesses the time(or the nearest minute) of the first goal in the game will be declared the winner. Nil nil will be the minute nearest to 90!
4. All entries should be given to whomever is running the game by the time the coach parks up at Anfield.
5. The results will be announced and the prize is given on the way back to the winner on the Hert’s Coach. In the unlikely event of a TIE taking account of goal scored on what minute then a DRAW will be made. If the winning entrant happens to have written the correct goalscorer(not compulsory but up to you) then that will declared the winner!
6. Results of the top three players from each game played will be published on the website. Points will be awarded as follows.
1st place 5 points
2nd place 3 points
3rd place 1 point
7. At the end of the season the points will be added up and winner of the "Herts predict the starting eleven" competition will be announced and awarded a prize at the annual dinner.
8. Any queries with any of the results can only be resolved during the journey back from the game. After that the results published on the site will be final.
